Event: Spring Community Potluck on April 27th
Let’s build community, break bread, and lift each other up.
You’re invited to our Spring Community Potluck—an afternoon of good food, connection, and creativity at The Landing! This event is open to everyone, so bring your friends and neighbors and something delicious to share.
Event Details:
Left of Lansdowne Community Potluck
Veterans’ Landing, Lansdowne, PA
Sunday, April 27 | 3:00–5:00 PM
What to bring:
• A dish to share (please list all ingredients for allergy and dietary needs, link below). If you are unable to bring a dish for whatever reason, please join us anyway, as we will have plenty to share.
• Your own plate, cup, and cutlery — to help reduce the single-use waste.
Plus:
• Info tables on community resources: food, shelter, clothing, health care, clean water, and more.
• “Go Bag” prep info for emergencies.
• Harm Reduction Supplies: Narcan, testing strips for fentanyl/tranq, COVID antigen tests, and respirators/masks.
• Community Art Project in Scrappy Cat’s Alley: make your own protest signs and get creative — we’ll provide materials (but feel free to bring your own, if you prefer).

To sign up for bringing a dish or dessert, please add your name to this spreadsheet or share it in the Potluck Event Page over on Facebook: If you do not use Google or Facebook, please email us at [email protected] with what you’re bringing (and the ingredients), and we will note it. We will also have notecards on the day for folks to write what their dish is and its ingredients.
Weather: The forecast looks to be a beautiful, albeit breezy, spring afternoon with a high around 70°F and sunny, so don’t forget your sun protection.
Accessibility: There are plenty of parking spaces right next to the Landing, including several handicap accessible spaces. Crisp Chik’n is kindly offering its bathroom, which is accessible and located across the street from the Landing. We respectfully ask that if you are currently feeling under the weather, you stay home this time or attend wearing a mask to prevent community spread. There will be many more community potlucks in the future. Scrappy Cat is located a little less than half a block’s walk down from the Landing.
Let’s build community, break bread, and lift each other up.
In solidarity,
Left of Lansdowne
P.S. Need harm reduction supplies like COVID tests, masks, Narcan, or test strips for fentanyl/tranq? Text or call us at (215) 360-3096. Please note that this is a volunteer-run non-emergency service.
